Extend your stay in Israel with Gil Travel

URGENT MESSAGE

IMPORTANT NOTICE DURING CURRENT SITUATION IN ISRAEL
IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ FULLY AND CAREFULLY!
Due to the situation, some airlines are suspending service to and from Israel on some flights.  This may affect your trip and your return flight home.
We are monitoring the situation and updating passengers as needed.  Please note that this situation is completely out of the control of Gil Travel but we are doing whatever possible to provide support.
Understand that in the airline industry, when an airline cancels a confirmed flight, they are required to provide alternate arrangements.  Travel agents (Gil Travel in this case) have no control or involvement in this process, but again, we will attempt to assist whenever possible.
Usually you will receive an email from the airline with a link or contact info to reach out to them and/or instructions on how to proceed with rebooking.  Likely it is the airline’s office in TEL AVIV that you must contact during normal Israel business hours. It is crucial that you follow their instructions.  Gil Travel has no power to override or bypass their process.
IMPORTANT: If you call the general call center or public “800 number” of an airline you will get INCORRECT information.  They will tell you that you need to call Gil Travel.  That is INCORRECT.  It is because you MUST only contact the number or link they provided you with.  Do not contact the general call center.
CAUTION!  If you call the Tel Aviv office after normal Israel working hours, your call will likely (unknowingly) be routed to the general call center and they will tell you INCORRECTLY to contact Gil Travel.  Your special Birthright ticket can only be managed by the special Birthright department of your airline.

IF YOU PURCHASE A NEW TICKET WITHOUT COORDINATING WITH THE AIRLINE, YOU WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED.
